"Raising a Joint Assembly to hear an address by the
Honorable Robert C. Byrd."
WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert C. Byrd has advised that he
would be pleased to address a Joint Assembly of both houses of
the Legislature at the convenience of the two houses; therefore,
be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the House and Senate convene in Joint Assembly in the
Chamber of the House of Delegates at the hour of 11 o'clock
antemeridian, Friday, March 1, 1996, for the purpose of hearing
an address by Senator Byrd; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Speaker of the House and the
President of the Senate appoint a committee of escort to
accompany Senator Byrd into the Hall of the House for the purpose
of delivering his address.
